New City Chambers is a boutique law chambers located in downtown Port-of-Spain, minutes walk away from the courts.

We are a small set and thus well placed to dynamically respond to our client’s individual legal challenges. Litigation is rarely associated with the building of relationships and as such, litigation is always the option of last resort. Also, litigation only benefits lawyers whose fees increase with litigation; the parties rarely benefit. With the courts today placing increasing emphasis on the settlement of cases before trial, we focus wherever possible on resolving disputes in a fair, confidential and amicable way without needing to litigate.

That said, once the decision is made to litigate we believe in an aggressive and fearless approach to fighting our client’s case in court. We take a research led, practical approach to the practice of law, which is applied as robustly to the advice rendered to our own clients as it is to the representation in court.
