New City Chambers congratulates member, Dr. Emir Crowne, on his appointment to the role of Assistant Chief Examiner, CAPE Law.
In this role, Dr. Crowne shall be responsible for the setting, standardizing and grading of CAPE Law exams.
In particular, he shall now be expected to develop question papers, organise and in consultation with the Chief Examiner, conduct examiners’ standardisation meetings for script marking, assist the Chief Examiner in supervising markers, make grade recommendations, asses marker performance, and prepare in consultation with the Chief Examiner a final marking scheme.
Dr. Crowne and other CAPE Law Examiners are currently involved a week-long paper setting exercise, co-ordinated by the Caribbean Examinations Council in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Dr Crowne was appointed to this role earlier in the year.
