New City Chambers members, Matthew Gayle and Sheriza Khan, speak to TV6 about victory in TTOC arbitration tribunal case where Dr. Emir Crowne, Matthew Gayle, and Sheriza Khan represented Dexter St. Louis in his appeal against non-selection for the CAC 2018 Games.
Khan said, “There was basically no good reason for why he wasn’t selected. They said that “economic factors”, they took into consideration whether the athletes were able to sponsor themselves.”
Gayle also said, “Clearly it’s not right when persons are paying cash for places on teams to represent Trinidad and Tobago.”
The TTOC is set to respond to Dexter St Louis’ call to investigate the “Cash For Places” on or before the 27th July 2018.
